After yesterday’s post, an eso returned in the late afternoon and sat a spell on the perch overlook. The blustery cold day driven by north winds did not seem to bother. I managed a couple discreet photos from a distance, not wanting to rush him off as he kept an eye on me. He returned sometime after dark, then left again about an hour before dawn. Another frigid night ahead, maybe one of them will roost overnight again.
